While growing up in italy, Morcky was split between two camps, one leg firmly in graffiti and the other one in mathematics. Eventually art took preferences. From then on and due to the use of different media and techniques (photography animation and video), his activities have always been very diverse. In 2002 he moved to Amsterdam with friend-for-life Rocco ”The Boghe” where they formed Twothings.
His street paint has numerous elements which sets it apart from “classic graffiti”, but it still maintains the same approach and attitude. He enjoys playing with perspective and has his drawings interact with the surroundin g structures, walls and elements. Morcky is a master of chaos: his graphic work and installations are hardly ever minimalist.
However in his mass of objects and graphics, the logic of beauty can always be found. In 2005, together with 3 partners he founded Mikosa Artist Foundation, with the aim to support artists through publications and events.
